South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron has been found dead in Seoul, police confirm.

South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron has passed away at the age of 24.

According to the BBC, a friend discovered the actress unresponsive at her home in Seoul on Sunday and immediately contacted the police.

Authorities have found no signs of foul play; however, investigations into the cause of her death are still ongoing.

For those unfamiliar, Kim was considered one of South Korea’s most promising actresses. She began her career as a child actor and gained recognition for her roles in A Brand New Life and A Girl at My Door.

She also starred in television dramas, including Mirror of the Witch.
