Israel's military announced on Saturday that it failed to intercept a "projectile" launched from Yemen, which landed near Tel Aviv. The national medical service reported that three people sustained minor injuries.

"Following the sirens heard recently in central Israel, a projectile launched from Yemen was identified, but interception attempts were unsuccessful," the Israeli military stated on its Telegram channel.

Since the Gaza conflict began over a year ago, Yemen's Iranian-backed Huthi rebels have repeatedly launched missile attacks against Israel, most of which have been intercepted.

In response, Israel has conducted multiple strikes on targets in Yemen, including ports and energy facilities in Huthi-controlled areas.

"Reports were received a short time ago of a weapon landing in one of the settlements in the Tel Aviv district," Israeli police reported on Saturday.

Israel's emergency medical service confirmed that three individuals were hospitalized with minor injuries, while several others were treated near the site for shock.
